How I came to build sunrooms
I grew up on my dad's job sites, carrying glass and sweeping slabs before I was old enough to drive, and that's where I learned this trade. I started San Juan Capistrano Sunrooms and Patios in 2023 so I could build sunrooms and patio rooms the way he taught me. Most of the people who call us here in San Juan Capistrano and the cities around it have a patio or deck they'd like to use a lot more than they do.
The thing that stuck with me most from my dad wasn't a building trick. He'd answer the same question twice if you needed it, because a sunroom is a big decision and the question you didn't get to ask is the one that bothers you later. I'm the one who comes out to look at your space, measure and answer your questions, and I'm on site checking the work while our own crew builds. You won't get handed off to someone who's never stood on your patio.
We price the room you'll really use
Before we put a number on anything, we talk through how you'll use the room, whether that's morning coffee, a spot for the kids or dinner out of the wind. That way you pay for the room you need and not for features that sit there unused.
Permits and HOA steps handled
The city's Building Department issues permits for almost any construction and says to assume you need one unless the work is on its exempt list, so we take on the paperwork and the city appointments. If you're in an HOA, the city wants their written approval before it issues the permit, and we help you put together what they ask for first.
